Whether or not you believe in God, which I do. Faith is still vital to you achieving your goals. Faith is defined as 'complete trust or confidence in someone or something,' so it's important that you develop faith in yourself.
We are creatures of habit and I think that a lot of us fall in to routines that are not healthy for us. We get complacent with our life and then struggle to make changes in order to go after what we want, as we are so afraid of losing, we dare not even try. If you can relate to that, then i'll be honest, that was me too. A few months ago, I wouldn't have dared write a blog and publish it publicly for anyone to find, as I didn't believe that what I had to say would be of any value to anyone. Yet here I am, opening up to you about my own struggles and how I am slowly overcoming them, to create a happier more positive life for myself and my son.
But for me I couldn't have done this without God. Without knowing that he has my back and wants me to put my faith in him. I try to follow the 4 P's which are patience, persistence, positivity and prayer. My faith is what will help me to keep going even on days when I just want to give up, and it will help you too. Remember that you can't fail at something if you don't stop trying. So no matter what obstacles are placed in your way you need to find ways to keep trying to achieve your goals.
As mentioned in the definition confidence is another important factor. Something that I myself was lacking but am growing day by day.
